In October 2014, Krofina Investigations was hired by a Santa Ana law firm to investigate an accident and take witness statements. The accident occurred on the 405 freeway and involved a big rig pulling a trailer making an illegal lane change into an occupied lane. The big rig struck a small vehicle which had been safely traveling in their own lane. Serious injuries were the result and Krofina Investigations was hired to track down a witness who saw the accident. With client authorization, we contacted the witness, took their statement which helped establish the negligence of the big rig driver, and had the witness sign the written statement which was then turned over to the attorney along the investigation report.
